About the Author
At the time of this publication, Jenny Durr is forty years old. She started writing at the age of seven. She has been in a wheelchair all her life. She dictates her work because she has cerebral palsy, which causes her inability to write. She currently lives in central New Jersey, near her childhood home.
The author spent her childhood living in the country with her parents and sister. Her father recently retired from farming after forty years.
The author's entire schooling was at a special ed. school. Her favorite subject was and continues to be English. Her grandmother lovingly took down Jenny's very first poem, ''Why, Why, Why?'' People have often told the author that she is wise beyond her years as the content of her poetry shows.

Very insightful

Very insightful. Many times we try to be helpful, but not understanding the other persons position or thoughts does not always bring about what is intended. I have passed this book to a few people in our church that do missions work. I believe many copies will be bought so Jennys words can be heard. Thank you for writing and I hope to see more of your work in the future.

Great Read

Life View is an excellent title for this book.
The writer delves into her deepest thoughts and feelings about life and love. Her keen senses make her fully aware of farm life around her and people with whom she comes in contact. She writes in detail just how she feels about those who take care of her, her friends and family. She recalls happy, meaningful memories of child hood days. Her genuine faith in God, her Savior, surfaces in The Train Bound for Heaven. She appeals to the reader to consider the meaning of the cross. This is an important part of her life.
I truly enjoyed the book and recommend it for one to see life through the eyes of a woman with cerebral palsy.

This book is a work that touches the heart for its honesty, poignancy and humor. It would be enjoyed by anyone, whether they are physically disabled or not. It will be an encouragement to the former and a revelation to the latter. One can learn a lot from someone, who, though physically limited, has been given the gift of sharing herself through her writing. In doing so, she shares her love of, and trust in God, for His mercy and grace. I look forward to a second work by this gifted author.
