Good read!
By Dave & Judy
This is a page-turner. It reads well, has "watch your back" suspense and gentle romance. I didn't want the book to end. The author has a good story line going. Hope "Extraction" is part of a planned series.
I would have preferred more descriptive detail about the Home and village. And later, what was the aroma of the "stew"? Was it greasy? I like to draw pictures in my mind of the characters, the surroundings, the smells, etc. There was more descriptive writing as the book developed; just wanted more at the beginning.

Coolio
By TiredSerpentinePasta
Yes hello,
When I initially purchased this book I didn't really know what to expect out of it honestly, but I soon got pulled into the story of Lell. This was a very interesting read, I haven't read many books like it which is probably why is appealed to me so much. The descriptions were great the characters were great. My only complaints are that I feel that there could have been a little bit more depth to the characters and I wish Eyaldin's story could have been explored in this book, but I trust we will soon come to know his story in future volumes. I also wish Lell could have been a little more heroic I guess. Like I wish she had a more "take charge" personality... I'm not exactly sure how to put it, this isn't coming out right.
ANYWAYS.
Overall I think it was a great book. I read through it within a few hours because I honestly could not put it down. I really loved the sweet and gentle romance in this book as well. It's just really cute and cuddly guys. I think this book is probably more for teenage girlies and young women, but it might appeal to guys as well I don't know there's blood and a little fighting in it, so yeah.
ALSO I APPLAUD YOU MANDY ON THE CUTE NOSE KISSES IN THIS BOOK OH MY H*CK THEY WERE SO CUTE NOSE KISSES ARE THE CUTEST THINGS IN WORLD THANK YOU FOR PUTTING THEM IN THERE
Sorry this review is kind of everywhere and probably makes little sense but anyways I really hope there will be a sequel!!
Also Eyaldin is the cooliest character. That is all.

AWESOME
By Allison
To be completely honest, I originally only purchased this book because I saw it promoted and I wanted to support the author. Then I actually started to read it, and I was hooked! I went into reading it without having any idea what it was about, and was pleasantly surprised that a lot of it was a romance novel. I also can totally see this being a movie, and Terrek reminds me so SO much of a character Taylor Lautner would play, that when I read it I pictured Taylor Lautner as Terrek.
**SPOILER ALERTS** I do wish there was more anticipation and detail about Zeram's "death," or planned death anyway, because I felt like that was kind of rushed and foggy, and there wasn't enough hype in that part, but hopefully there is a sequel and the sequel can go more in depth on the fight with Terrek and Zeram, and how he survived! I also wished there was a little more character development of Eyaldin and his relationship with Lell, because I feel like most of the story is in depth about Terrek even though in the overall plot Eyaldin is a really important character. Lastly, this is really random, but some of the character names were really ornate to the point where I don't even know how they're pronounced. Like in my head when Lell's full name was written I just pronounced it as "Lia" because I couldn't figure out how else it was said.
Despite those few minor things, I honestly really loved this story, and am looking forward to a sequel. :)
